However, for it to be "official" we do need your counselor to sign it. Good luck! Allison Tom -

Instead of submitting form D, we could submit a first/second six weeks report card? If so, should I get my counselor to sign off on it? Thanks! Tom Just want a clarification on the blog entry. To your questions: 1) If you haven't already sent ANY scores to us, then you might want to consider a RUSH Report from CollegeBoard. I hate to say that, as they will charge you handsomely for it! However, it typically takes them 3-5 weeks to send out a regular Score Report... the 3 week end of that spectrum would be fine, but the 5 week end of it is not so good. So to be on the safe side (with less than 2 weeks to the deadline), I would probably recommend coughing up the money for a Rush Report. :-( I think you have to call CollegeBoard to request the Rush Report. Go to http://www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/sat/scores.html for more details. 2) The JANUARY 1 deadline is a POSTMARKED deadline. We *know* that it takes a little while for everything to trickle into our office, so as long as you have submitted your online portion and everything else is postmarked January 1, you should be in good shape. Thanks for reading Claire!

I also had a few questions about the admissions process... How do you determine if SAT scores need to be rushed? Is January 1st a postmark deadline or a receipt deadline? Thanks again!
